Some of the inhabitants of Georgia were not familiar with the Internet. This is evidenced by data research National democratic Institute (NDI). They drew the attention of RBC.
For the study the survey was conducted. Respondents were asked how often they use the Internet. About 1 percent of respondents admitted that they don’t know what it is. Another 28 percent reported that they never logged in. 10% of people only do it once a week.
Every day the Internet is used by about half of study participants. Most of the users were in the Georgian capital Tbilisi there are daily online, 81 percent of respondents, and not use it just 16 percent.
Among the most important spheres of life, which ought to expend budget funds, study participants described the health care (61 percent of respondents), education (50 percent) and pension/social insurance (47 percent).
