In Venezuela, the explosion occurred during the President’s speech

The explosion occurred during a speech of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro at a celebration of the anniversary of the Bolivarian national guard in Caracas. It is reported by local newspaper El Observador.

The President’s speech was broadcast live. On the television footage that appeared on YouTube, shows how Maduro interrupted the monologue and threw his head back. His wife Kilia Flores, too, looked up, and then the camera switched to one of the soldiers who participated in the parade. This is followed by an outline, in which soldiers begin to dramatically diverge.

The President was evacuated. Later, the Minister of communication and information of Venezuela, Jorge rodríguez confirmed that the country’s leader was assassinated, reports Efecto Cocuyo.
