In Venezuela, after the assassination of President began detaining journalists

After the assassination attempt on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, the country began to detain journalists. About this in his Twitter said the national Union of press workers.

States that currently detained 11 journalists, including representatives of national and foreign media. Some were beaten or robbed.

The Union demanded to punish those who are responsible for the violation of the right to information.

Earlier the Minister of internal Affairs, justice and for peace Nestor Reverol reported that in the case of the assassination attempt arrested six suspects, the organizers and perpetrators identified. The responsibility for the attack has taken the group “Flannel soldiers”.

The assassination attempt on Maduro was made on 5 August during a public speech of the President in Caracas. The organizers of the attack promised to attempt to eliminate the head of state.
