Group member Pussy Riot Mary Alekhine, which forbade the departure from Russia, left the country. About it reports The Guardian.

The activist left Russia by car via Belarus. After that, she traveled over thousands of kilometers and came to the territory of the European Union through Lithuania, where she got on a plane to the UK.

“It’s nothing special. Similarly, leaving the country a lot of Russians, and legally,” she said.

8 Aug Alekhine tried to take off from Moscow’s Domodedovo airport, she was stopped by employees of the FSB border service. She was going to go to London and then to Edinburgh, where the planned theatrical performance based on her book Riot Days.
