Nadolsky Tomasz (Tomasz Nadolski) suffers from Fabry disease. Because of the constant pain he has to use morphine patches and other painkillers. It must be connected to the drip 20 hours a day, and his deformed feet in need of special orthopedic shoes.
The disease manifested itself when he was seven years old. The boy began to complain of pain in the abdomen, arms and legs, and after eating he was sick of vomiting. The doctors believed that he had a mental disorder. The correct diagnosis was made only recently.
Children’s appearance gives Nadolska a lot of problems. The relationship with family is ruined because they treated him like a child. Outsiders also do not believe that he is 25 years old. It is often accused of using fake documents.
Nadolsky lives on state benefit of 700 zlotys a month (about 12 thousand rubles). Medication for annual treatment costs 800 thousand zlotys (about 14 million). While it helps that a pharmaceutical company gave them for free.
Fabry disease is associated with congenital lack of the enzyme that is responsible for the processing of a special type of fat. As a result, it accumulates in the blood vessels and disrupts the normal functioning of the organs. Fabry disease can manifest itself in different ways. Many patients complain of pain, dizziness, fatigue, problems with heart and kidneys, their likely early strokes.
