Nord Stream AG 2 received all necessary permits for the construction of the pipeline “Nord stream-2”. This was stated by the press service of the operator of the project.
“To date, received all permits necessary for the construction of Russian gas pipeline “Nord stream-2″”, — stated in the message. The permit was issued by the Federal service for supervision in the sphere of nature management of the Russian Federation (Rosprirodnadzor).
A gas pipeline runs along the bed of the Russian territorial sea (adjacent to the land territory or internal Maritime waters of the state of the marine zone up to a width of 12 nautical miles, measured from marine lines), has a length of about 114 miles. The construction will take into account all environmental aspects “in accordance with the conclusion of the state ecological expertise”.
Earlier, the Ministry of construction and housing and communal services also gave its consent for the project. In addition, complete sets of licences were received from the following EU countries: Germany, Finland and Sweden. It was also reported that Denmark is the only country which has not yet approved the project.
