Ukrainians again called slaves

The leader of the Ukrainian political party “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko protested the disastrous economic situation of citizens, comparing them to ancient Egyptian slaves. She wrote about this in his account in Facebook.

“In the Ukrainian villages began to take apples from gardens and orchards. The price is phenomenal: 30-40 cents per kilogram. Slaves in Ancient Egypt during the reign of Tutankhamun had great earnings. Otherwise, as a mockery of the people it can not be called”, — the politician wrote.

Tymoshenko noticed that the workers in Poland are Ukrainians — a significant economic factor, helping to survive those that remained at home. “Ukrainian citizens working in Poland, sent for three months to Ukraine $ 800 million — almost a billion!” — admired it.

It’s not just about the “brain drain” abroad, but also the outflow of labor. The emigration of Ukrainians will continue as long as the Ukrainian authorities do not revise “relationship to their own citizens,” said the head of the party “Batkivshchyna”. “These are the people that need to raise the national economy of Ukraine, but because of the stalemate forced to raise someone else’s,” she said.

The politician called on the government to develop a long-term incentive program of deterrence departures abroad for work.

Earlier, on 13 August, the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko also compared the citizens of the country with slaves. He criticized the current government for the preservation of a visa-free regime and active trade with the “enemy.” “In this state, there is no plan for victory, because you behave not as people who needed a win. You are already slaves,” he said.
