11 convicted in Ukraine Russians wrote letters to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin with a request to exchange them for Ukrainian prisoners. About this in his Facebook wrote to the Commissioner for human rights in Ukraine Lyudmila Denisova.

According to her, the relevant statements were written by Vyacheslav Vysotsky, Valery Ivanov, Alexander Vlahides, Vladislav Grechin, Victor Ageev, Oleg Doronin, Denis Sidorov, Evgeny Shatalov, Alexei Sadikov, as well as being in jail Alexander Kamalov and Farooq Sattar.

The Ombudsman assured that these emails will go to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine, diplomatic mail will be delivered to the presidential Administration of Russia.

In August 2015, the Russian court found the Director Oleg Sentsov guilty of several arsons and attacks in the Crimea and Simferopol and was sentenced to 20 years in a strict regime. Guilty convict is not recognized. On 14 may he announced an indefinite hunger strike demanding to be released from Russian colonies all Ukrainian political prisoners, which he includes himself, despite the Russian citizenship. 15 Aug Sentsov refused to write a petition for clemency.
