Former goalkeeper of Cagliari and the youth national team of Italy on football David Capello was on the bridge in Genoa during its collapse. It is reported by Football Italia.

“First I heard a noise, and then everything collapsed. My car fell 30 meters and got stuck between the columns and rubble. It’s incredible, I’m not even scratched,” — shared his emotions Italian.

“I often passed over this bridge, which is one of the busiest in the country. Saw the road literally fell in front of me. Have no idea as my car is not crushed”, he added.

Capello played for Cagliari between 2003 and 2005. Together with the team, the goalkeeper came out in a series A. Then the footballer played for clubs in the Italian lower divisions. Also on account of his three matches in the youth team of Italy.
