In Russia for the first time allowed to hold a gay pride parade. About this on his page “Vkontakte” said the leader of the Moscow LGBT community, Nikolai Alexeyev.
“The head of Administration of the city of Novoulyanovsk were allowed to hold a gay pride parade in the village of Yabluneve, with a population of … seven (!!!) people. There was another option to offer as locations for gay parade the village of Panskaya Sloboda with a population of 131 resident, but that would be too progressive for modern Russia”, — he wrote.
Alexeyev said that “thus, the first in the history of Russia agreed upon a gay pride parade to be held August 26, 2018 with 12 to 14 hours in the village of the Apple town of Novoulyanovsk Ulyanovsk region. Important not to exceed the declared number of participants. Said 300 people. Begin to build the list of participants”.
In January 2017 the power located on the Arctic circle Salekhard banned there a gay pride parade. It was argued that the reason for this decision was the act on the protection of children from information harmful to their health and development.
