The Kremlin has not yet developed a position regarding the initiatives of the withdrawal of Russian metallurgical and chemical enterprises profits, said press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. It was quoted by RIA Novosti on Thursday, August 16.
Sands answered negatively to the question whether the relevant proposals veiled initiative to introduce progressive taxation.
“You know that this is one of the expert points of view, this point of view assistant to the President, and you know that the President agreed that this point of view can and should be elaborated in the government, including with the participants of the market,” he said.
A Kremlin spokesman stressed that the President always extremely careful with such matters.
August 9 special assistant to the President Andrei Belousov has suggested to withdraw from the 14 metallurgical, chemical and petrochemical companies of more than 500 billion windfall. The initiative was criticized by representatives of these companies.
