As stated by the head of the working group on combating crime in the sphere of economy, public Council under the main administration of the MIA of Russia in Moscow Alexander Kaminski, foreign artists must abide by certain rules.
“Any foreign citizen working in Russia must obtain a working visa indicating the purpose of the trip, submission to the consular Department of the MFA of Russia of the contract on performance with significantly the amount of remuneration and to pay taxes on all fees, including get cash,” he said.
According to him, this also applies to the free performances. At the moment, the authorities collect photos and videos of performances of the singer in Russia, to establish a violation of the law. If they prove that it was illegally working in Russia, she faces a fine and expulsion from the country.
