Vladimir Putin’s invitation to the wedding of the Austrian foreign Minister Karin Kneissl caused the head of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry Pavel Klimkin “sad smile”. He wrote about this in his Twitter.

“I am a secular life usually do not comment, but if the foreign Ministry of Austria is forced to make excuses, assuring the immutability of foreign policy in the light of “private” visit, then it is an interesting new form, which is a sad smile,” — said Klimkin.

Ukrainski the Minister responded to the statement of the Austrian foreign Ministry that the visit of Putin to the wedding Kneisl has no political overtones. “This is primarily a private event and a private one, and hence does not imply any change in foreign policy of Austria”, — said the Agency. Prior to that, member of the European Parliament from the Austrian Green party Michel Raymond demanded to send Kneisl resigned from-for Putin’s visit, if she can’t do it.

Wednesday, August 15, the Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung announced the visit of the Russian leader for the celebration, which will take place in the South of Styria. It was reported that Putin “will come to the wedding as an unexpected guest”.
