The US responded to the Russian “Krasuha”

This fall the US Army will receive several mobile electronic warfare systems EWTV (Electronic Warfare Tactical Vehicle), which, however, yield similar Russian developments, writes Breaking Defense.

The complex is an armoured vehicle International MaxxPro with the installed base of the modified system CREW Duke, capable, according to the developers the SRC to detect and jam a wide range of signals equipment of the enemy, including mobile communication.

The American edition notes that the EWTV weaker Russian mobile electronic warfare tested, particularly in Syria.

Analyst Samuel Bendett from the Center of naval analysis (USA) stated that currently at the disposal of Russia there are at least five mobile electronic warfare systems, deployment takes only 15 minutes. The expert notes that in the field of mobile electronic warfare the U.S. lag behind Russia, but with the advent of EWTV moving “in the right direction.”

In July Colonel of the U.S. Army Brian Sullivan said that in Syria the U.S. military operate in conditions of radio-electronic attack from Russia. In June, he said that the Russian technology of electronic warfare ahead of us and represent a special threat to the United States and NATO forces in Europe.

In Syria seen such Russian system of electronic warfare as “Leer-3”, “Krasuha” and “Moscow-1” and the station “Zoo-1” and “Accordion”.
