All participants in the attacks on police in Chechnya was a minor. This was reported by TASS, the Minister of the Chechen Republic for national policy, external relations, press and information Dzhambulat Umarov.

Umarov noted that the aim of the attackers were not police officers, and civilians. Police blocked the road and teenagers were injured.
“They are in a serious but stable condition, their life is not in danger. Among the civilian population there is not a single victim,” said the Minister.
Press Secretary of the head of Republic Alvi Karimov, the radio station “Kommersant FM” reported that all the militants who attacked the police in the Shali district, belonged to a criminal group.
“They wounded two police officers are stabbed, their life threatens nothing. Had one attempt of suicide bombing — the culprit was still alive, was taken to hospital. And two others attempted to blow up a car, but they have gas tanks exploded. They drove around the city, did not stop at the demand of the car and was liquidated,” — said Karimov.
