Exchange, the Ukrainian Director Oleg Sentsov, who is serving a sentence in prison “White bear” (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) on Russian prisoners in Ukraine is impossible, said the Commissioner for human rights in Russia, Tatiana Moskalkova, reports “Interfax”.

According to her, due to the fact that Sentsov “turned on the fact of dual citizenship”.

“According to the Ukrainian Constitution, their citizens cannot be extradited to the territory of Russia — as well as us citizens shall not be extradited to another area. Therefore, we need to look for some new legal form”, — said Moskalkova.

In her opinion, this form could be a bilateral agreement between Russia and Ukraine on the status of persons with two nationalities.

Oleg Sentsov, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison on terrorism charges, is on hunger strike for 100 days: he announced an indefinite hunger strike on 14 may. Its only condition for ending the hunger strike is the release of 64 Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia. In July Sentsov mother asked Russian President Vladimir Putin’s pardon of his son. The Kremlin responded that the petition must submit himself a prisoner. The Director said that he is not going to stop the hunger strike.
