The militants fired rocket-propelled grenades in the centre of Kabul. The incident occurred during a speech of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. About it reports TV channel Tolo news.

It is clarified that the rebels shelled the presidential Palace and the surrounding area. Two militants eliminated, the fight continues.

The President was not injured.

The Taliban stopped three buses, where, according to various estimates, there were from 150 to 400 people, many with families heading on vacation to Kabul. All, including women and children, were taken to an unknown location.

Earlier, sources in the Taliban reported that it has agreed to a four-day truce with the authorities at the time of the festival (to run from August 21 to August 25). At the same time that still need to get the approval of a Taliban leader Heybatulla of Ahundzade.
