Three inmates of the prison “Vladimir Central” on hunger strike about 10 days ago. About this “Interfax” said the Commissioner for human rights in the Vladimir region Lyudmila Romanov after a meeting with the protesters.

“Three inmates have stopped accepting meals from 13-14 August, the exact dates they don’t remember. Now their condition is satisfactory, they are under the control of doctors,” said Romanov.

The Ombudsman noted that prisoners refused to Express their demands and claims. “They want to meet with representatives of the Prosecutor General, will only speak with them. According to them, information they sent on their own,” she said.

The author has listed their names: Chekalkin Gregory S., Potapov Andrey Potapov Stas, Ismailov Anar Ismail-Oglu, Gashimov Hogany hasham-Oglu, Elbakiev Khizir Nixon and Mehtiev Salman Matakovich.

These prisoners refused food “in protest against the systematic torture, beatings and bringing to suicide performed by the employees of the Institution (prison),” explains Kayfajyan.
