Entrepreneurs from the “the London list” the business Ombudsman Boris Titov, who left the country due to the prosecution commented on the refusal of the Prosecutor General to review their business, RBC.
Businessman Vladimir Zyuzin said that the newspaper “Kommersant”, which received the comment of the official representative of the Prosecutor General Alexander kurinny, “freely interpret the concept”. “I have no papers nor Titov, either personally did not come about impossibility of review of my case. I want to see the paper,” said Zyuzin. He also added that “anyone” in the list are not included. “The team Titov explained to me that I’m innocent,” added the entrepreneur.
Lawyer Yevgeny Ryzhov, also mentioned in the publication about the decision of the Prosecutor General’s office, described the comment of the representative of the Supervisory authority as “manipulative belated reaction”. “From the General Prosecutor’s office is a defensive reaction after our appeal to the President, [the fact] that despite his assignment of the actions we are taken”, — he stressed.
Ex-Dean of faculty of improvement of qualification of medical workers of the people’s friendship University Victor Lamas, who is accused of major fraud and cheating the students, called the information “unpleasant moment”. He added that he, like other members of the list, I believe in justice and opportunity to prove his innocence.
Earlier, Alexander Kurennoy told “Kommersant” that the prosecutors have analyzed 25 cases. Some of the defendants were stopped the international search, however the case of a number of entrepreneurs, the Agency does not intend to revise.
In December 2017, the Commissioner for protection of entrepreneurs ‘ rights Boris Titov said that he was going to return to Russia some businessmen who left the country due to criminal prosecution. Many of them now live in the UK, because of what the initiative received the informal name “the London list”.
