United Russia will create a support centre civil society activists

In Russia will create the Center of support of civil initiatives (CPHI). The position of the new organization was adopted by the Presidium of the General Council of the party “United Russia”, reports TASS on Thursday, August 30.

As the main objectives of work-center United Russia sees the promotion and legal support projects created by people with the active social position and NCOs.

“His challenge is to all activists, NGOs — saw the party real and effective help in their initiatives”, — said the Deputy Sergei Boyarsky.

To date, the enormous potential of the “United Russia”, he said, is almost never used to help civil initiatives. The situation could be changed only through systematic work.

The main focus of the centre’s staff will do to help young journalists engaged in new media, environmentalists, social entrepreneurs, people promoting domestic tourism, active aging, the dialogue between different cultures.

“The work will be carried out in all regions, and in General, the development of local initiatives and their replication for us is a priority,” said Boyarsky.

Coordinate the work of CPGE are experienced and well-known public figures, parliamentarians, business representatives, Executive authorities and journalists that will be included in the Supervisory Board.
