Barnaul court decided to send the accused of extremism because of the meme with Patriarch Kirill Andrew Shasherina in a psychiatric hospital. 38-the summer inhabitant of Barnaul there will pass a compulsory examination. It is reported by “Novaya Gazeta”.

The defendant filed an appeal against the decision of the district court, but the regional court has left it in force. The maximum time spent in a psychiatric hospital will be 90 days, said Sacharin.

“The judge is absolutely illegal did the meeting closed to members of the press and banned the record, because supposedly could be a medical mystery spoken about my mental health. I have never had disturbances in the psyche. I have the confirmation from psychiatrists from Moscow that I am completely healthy”, — told the accused.

The picture of the Patriarch and Jesus Christ was declared extremist and Shasherina made in the unified list of terrorists and extremists of Russian financial monitoring Committee.

August 7, Ombudsman of Altai region praised the work of the investigating authorities for a record number of cases of extremism.
