The security service of Ukraine (SBU) opened in Dnipropetrovsk region a network of “agitators” allegedly interfering in the election campaign in Ukraine by order of Russian special services. This was reported on the website of the Department.
According to Ukrainian security officials, the group was tasked “to prepare the base to influence the presidential election through the manipulation of public opinion of network users”.
In evidence to the attached video in which three men with closed faces and changed voices “recognized” in the Russian intelligence services.
On 29 August the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that “the tentacles of Moscow” have already started to interfere in the elections in Ukraine through social networks. According to him, the leading IT company has recorded the creation of tens of thousands of fake accounts with Russian roots. The goal, according to the President, is to sow discouragement and uncertainty about the European choice.
