Russia imposed a ban on exports of light and dark oil products and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Belarus before the end of 2019. About it reports Reuters with reference to the head of the Russian Ministry of energy Alexander Novak.
According to the Minister, in particular, provides for a ban on the supply of gasoline, diesel and fuel oil. At the same time, the agreement between the two countries involves the preservation of the supply of certain petroleum products that are not produced in Belarus and are necessary from the point of view of consumption.
“This is a separate list to the Protocol, a large list — paint products, chemical products, i.e., products of petrochemical plants”, — said Novak.
Earlier the Minister said that the export of Russian oil products on the territory of Belarus is inappropriate. According to him, Belarus provides itself with own oil it gets from Russian oil.
