In the Verkhovna Rada could smell the fumes

In the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine there was a strange smell. On Friday, November 23, reported the independent MP Yuriy Levchenko, the Agency UNIAN.

The politician said that he was surprised at the meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament the draft state budget for next year. “When you come into a sessional hall, the first thing felt is the presence of fumes in the air,” he said.

According to the MP, the last few hours of the event parliamentarians “had poured himself and very well used”. Levchenko stressed that members of Parliament should deal with legislation, not “in the Assembly hall to thump just corny”.

Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko drew attention to the fact that in the hall of the Parliament is forbidden to drink alcohol. She also noted that the buffet such beverages are not sold.

November 23, the Ukrainian Parliament held a night meeting, during which was adopted the state budget for the year 2019. The event ended at 6:00 a.m. local time.

In November, the MPs used the country map without the Crimea at the session of the Temporary investigative Commission for verification of facts of embezzlement in the army for the period 2004-2017. It is reported that the parliamentarians did not react to the lack of the Peninsula and continued the meeting.
