Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the flight of two military helicopters Mi-8 in the center of Moscow was part of an exercise. About it reports TASS on Friday, November 23.
“There is nothing extraordinary. The Kremlin — the current residence of the head of state is a sensitive site. There are some stage that will happen on each of them, have to deal with in FSO”, — said Peskov.
In response to the question of the existence of a helipad in the Kremlin press Secretary said that “Vladimir Putin flies to the Kremlin and from the Kremlin in 2012”.
Thursday, November 22, in social networks there was video on which two Mi-8 took to the air from the site near the Kremlin and flew in the direction of metro station “Paveletskaya”. One of the helicopters was carrying a mesh, on which were visible three human silhouette.
RT source in the Federal security service said that flights over the Kremlin was training and running in preparation for the regular drills of the security services.
