Russian biathlete Anton Shipulin told about how the removal from the Olympic games in Pyeongchang has affected his career. Words athlete leads “R-Sport”.
“Knew that in 2018 would put his career in a large and final point. But there is one big “but”. I didn’t go to the Olympics and has not won what he wanted and planned. Here came that feeling of naturalizovannye outweighed all other arguments, and I remained in the sport,” said 31-year-old Shipulin.
On 17 November it became known that Shipulin was not part of the national team for the upcoming world Cup and IBU Cup. Biathlete went to the training camp second team, where he began preparation for further competitions.

The Russians did not participate in the Olympics in Pyeongchang. He was among those who were not invited to competitions by the International Olympic Committee without explanation.
