Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva explained their mistakes in the rental of any program on the stage of the Grand Prix in France. Words athletes reports “R-Sport”.
“Half of today, I’m pleased with the workout. This means that in public I can do all of your content. But that happened at random… I’m once again not going to say that it was horrible. It is solely a mental problem. I admit my mistakes, I’m not the person who excuses. I admit my weakness — it is in my head,” — said Medvedev.
She told me that she wanted to skate the program clean, but in the course of the rental gave up. “Yes, very much like (to skate efficiently). Yes, ahead of, Yes, the brain was released, absolutely no thought. Yes, the program gave up. And this is the point on which we will work. Over the body we worked. We are complicated, which also influenced today’s result,” said the athlete, noting that he will now work to prepare for the championship of Russia.
In the short and long programs Medvedev took fourth place. This result allowed her to qualify in the Grand Prix final, which will be held from December 6 to 9 in Vancouver. Russia will be represented by three athletes: Alina Sagitova, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva and Sophia Samodurova.
