In the Brazilian city of Itajuipe, Bahia, found the man who could have been born in 1900. If the age of the survivor will be able to confirm, he is recognized as the oldest man in the world, reports the Daily Mail.

According to the birth certificate, josé Ferreira DOS Santos (Jose Ferreira dos Santos) was born on the ninth of November, 1900 in the village of Barrachan, the site of which now stands the city of Rio real. Thus, he is two years older than the 115-year-old Kane Tanaka from Japan, is considered the oldest inhabitant of the planet.

Because of the age long it is hard to stay on his feet and walk. Most of the time he sits or lies. Before leaving for the peace Santos is 58 years old worked on the farm.

In 1940, he married 20-year-old Lindauer Rocher de Jesus (Lindaura de Jesus Rocha). The girl was 20 years younger than him and married without parental permission. “Mom was really mad at him”, says Lindauer, who is now 98 years old.

The survivor found the blogger, accidentally heard his story. Now he’s trying to collect the documents to be submitted to the Guinness Book of records for official confirmation of the date of the birth of Santos.

In 2013 it was reported about the death of 116-year-old Japanese Jiroemon Kimura, who was born in 1897. He was listed in the Guinness Book of records as the oldest person in the world and the oldest ever lived on Earth.
