In the French Leone 10 Dec was arrested 22 members of an organized criminal group (OCG), consisting of citizens of Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. This is with reference to the MIA of Georgia informs Agency “Interfax”.
About the international special operation called VORS 69-01, which was attended by employees of the Georgian special services, said at a briefing in Tbilisi the Director of the Department of Central criminal police of the Georgian interior Ministry Vladimir bortsvadze.
According to him, among the detained ten citizens of Georgia, two of them are “thieves in law”. OPG, of which they were members, are accused of burglaries, car theft, forgery of documents and drug trafficking in France. They face up to 15 years in prison.
Bortsvadze, said that the operation to arrest the criminals involved more than 300 law enforcement officers from France, Belgium and Georgia, it involved special forces canine service and a helicopter.
