The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, condemned the behavior of Ukrainian MP and member of delegation to the PACE Borislav Birch, who came into conflict with Russian journalist Olga Skobeeva. About this he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Kadyrov, the Birch should apologize for his actions, otherwise “there is a true man,” which he “slapped a resounding slap in the face”. He also noted that if a similar situation occurred in Chechnya with a Ukrainian journalist, “the entire Western world was buzzing” about it. However, the incident hushed up on purpose, which, according to Kadyrov, it is not objectively.

“Taking this opportunity, once again I appeal to the brotherly Ukrainian people! Look who now decide the fate of the people and the country! They will lead you to a deep abyss. And it will never end, if not to drive and not to call to order politicians like that” — said the head of Chechnya.

The conflict between the Birch and Kabaevoy occurred during the interview with the Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko. The Deputy pushed the journalist, after which Skobeeva asked Birch to explain. In response, he called her “propaganda”, and Russia — “country-rockabilly”.
