Large Russian six years concealed the death of his son for the sake of benefits



In Krasnodar Krai detained a woman who for six years had concealed her son’s death and received his pension. In its relation criminal case under part 3 of article 159.2 of the criminal code (“Fraud in the receipt of benefits, committed on a large scale”), reported on the website of the Investigative Committee for the region.

According to preliminary reports, 36-year-old woman gave birth to her third child in August 2012. The boy immediately placed in the regional hospital, and was released in November of the same year. She received the birth certificate of the son, and then was not allowed home employees social security bodies to check their circumstances and condition. Judging by the pictures posted in the press release of the Ministry, the family lives in a dilapidated house.

At the end of 2018, the administration of the rural settlement reported to the police that the woman does not prepare their son for school. The police were unable to find a six year old child and opened a criminal case of murder. Mother told that his son died in 2012, choking on food, and she buried him close to home. For six years she received benefits for a total amount of 250 thousand rubles.

Earlier in January, the Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev has instructed the heads of municipalities to meet personally with women who choose to have an abortion with a physician, representatives of public organizations and psychologist to persuade them to continue the pregnancy. Otherwise, the “responsible parties will be dismissed”, stated the head of the region.

In January it became known that the authorities of Taganrog, Rostov region, was discharged large single mother allowance in the amount of 47.5 rubles. They explained that the family does not apply to the poor: at the time of treatment its per capita income was $ 9623 rubles per month while the living wage in the region 9671 ruble.
