Employees of Regardie and the FSB has released approximately 50 residents of Novokuznetsk, including six minors, illegally held in four rehabilitation centres of the city. It is reported by the Investigative Committee in the Kemerovo region.
According to the investigation, instead of the planned medical care, patients took their passports and mobile phones under the threat of deprivation of food and sleep solicited donations from half to 10 thousand rubles. In addition, people made “compulsory religious instruction”.
During the searches, seized religious literature, which will check for the presence of signs of extremism.
Detained 12 employees of the institution. A criminal case under part 2 of article 127 of the criminal code (“Illegal deprivation of freedom not connected with his kidnapping committed against two or more persons”).
In January 2017 the investigators of Bashkortostan filed a case of illegal deprivation of liberty more than 15 drug-addicted inhabitants of the Republic and other regions of Russia, which also held the staff of the rehabilitation center “Revival” and “Happy life”.
