The President of the United States Donald trump agreed with the Congress on the resumption of work of the government. About it reports Reuters.
“In the near future I will sign a bill to renew the work of our government for three weeks, until 15 February,” — said the American leader.
The head of state proposed to end the shutdown without resolving the question of allocation of 5.7 billion dollars for the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico. At the same time, he warned about the possibility of a new shutdown if it fails to reach a compromise with the Democrats.
Trump promised that I would make payments to employees of state structures for time worked. He asked Congress to proceed immediately to vote on the bill.
On 19 January it became known that trump is going to compromise with the Democrats. It was reported that the President will continue to insist on the allocation of the full amount for construction of the wall, however, support the extension of the DACA Executive order for the protection of certain categories of migrants from deportation.
The partial government shutdown, the United States lasted from December 22, 2018. It arose because of disagreements in Congress over the allocation of funds for the construction of the wall on the Mexican border. This led to the fact that 800 thousand civil servants on January 11 received a salary.
