The national Bank of Ukraine has sold at auction for uncut banknotes of one, two, five and ten hryvnia. The total sum amounted to 9.8 million UAH, is spoken in the message of the regulator.
The auction was held at the electronic trading system that allows remote access. The parties have filed application to purchase ten thousand sheets face value two grivnas, three thousand face value of five hryvnia and two thousand and ten hryvnia.
Previously, on 17 January it was reported that the national Bank of Ukraine will cease to print the banknotes in denominations of five and ten hryvnia. Pyatigrivnevye coins will be introduced into circulation in 2019, desantirovanie in subsequent years.
However, it was noted that banknotes in denominations of five and ten hryvnia will continue to be produced but in limited edition. They will be designed for collectors.
