The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has commented on the defeat of the Russian fighter of the mixed style (MMA) Fedor Emelianenko to American Ryan Bader in the finals of the Grand Prix of Bellator among the heavyweights. Entry is available in the Telegram-channel policy.
Kadyrov said that is deeply saddened by the speech Emelianenko. In his opinion, the Russian athlete looked helpless and wasn’t ready to fight. “The last time he was more concerned with politics and self-promotion than sports,” — wrote Kadyrov.
In 2016 Emelianenko, who was at that time a post of the head of the Union of MMA Russia, criticized the conduct of the fighting in Grozny with the participation of children. At the Grand Prix WFCA “Ahmad” had three matches with the participation of Kadyrov’s sons, the eldest of whom at the time of the competition was 10 years old. Emelianenko said that the organization of such fights involving children under 12 years is unacceptable. He was also angered by the fact that the match was televised, and what is happening in the arena watched Kadyrov.
