The process of integration of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people’s Republic (DPR) and Russia have entered the active phase. This was stated by the head of DNR Denis Pushilin, RIA Novosti reported on Monday, January 28.
“Judging by the negative and aggressive rhetoric from Kiev, Donbass from Kiev will depart, respectively, closer to where we’re going (towards integration with Russia — approx. “Of the tape.ru”), “—said Pushilin.
The politician added that in this process, the planned number of events, including participation in exhibitions of companies from the DNR.
While it is too early to say that the integration will be completed soon, said Pushilin.
31 December 2018, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a government decree, according to which the period of continuous stay of the residents of Donbass on the territory of Russia with the date of each entry was increased from 90 to 180 days.
Earlier in the same year, the Director of the Center for political conjuncture Alexei Chesnakov said that November 11, the election of deputies of the parliaments and heads of DND and LNR showed support for the policy of integration with Russia.
