The delegation from Russia was put on the last rows during a commemoration in honor of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp (Auschwitz-Birkenau) in Poland. Auschwitz-Birkenau — a complex of German concentration camps, located in 1940-1945 years near the town of Auschwitz, 60 kilometers from Krakow. In five years it killed more than 1.4 million people, 1.1 million of whom were Jews. The complex is considered the largest and most long-lived of the Nazi death camp, one of the main symbols of the Holocaust.
