Trump discussed a military operation in Venezuela

The US President Donald trump was interested in the possibility of conducting a military operation in Venezuela. This was reported edition of the Axios Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.

According to him, the President thought about this possibility a couple weeks ago and asked the views of the Senator on this issue. Graham advised not to rush into such a decision, as this may cause a number of problems.

Trump was surprised, because I thought that the Senator wants to turn all countries of the world. “I said, “I don’t want to invade to all, I just want to use the military when our security interests at risk,”” he said.

At the same time, Axios indicates that there is no real evidence that the White house plan a military invasion to Venezuela. It is noted that the administration trump intends to use diplomatic and economic measures to increase pressure and the ouster of President Nicolas Maduro. Earlier on January 28 it was reported that the leader of the Venezuelan opposition and the speaker of Parliament Joan Guido, declared himself interim President of the country, conducts secret negotiations with the military and officials for the removal of Maduro.
