The athletic Commission of Nevada has imposed a nine-month disqualification for the Russian fighter of the mixed style of Habib Nurmagomedov. It is reported by MMA Fighting.

The athlete was punished for his behavior during the UFC 229, when he after his victory over Conor McGregor pounced on a sparring partner, Irishman Dillon Dennis and provoked a mass brawl. Nurmagomedov will also pay a 500 thousand dollar fine. The suspension starts from 6 October 2018.

The punishment also got McGregor. For participation in a mass brawl after the match he was suspended for six months, and fined 50 thousand dollars, reports journalist Ariel Helwani.

The fight between Nurmagomedov and McGregor was held on October 6 in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA). The Russians defeated the Irish, and defended the title of champion of the ultimate fighting championship (UFC) lightweight champion. 23 Jan Nurmagomedov said that the attack on Denny’s, because all the other team members Conor was older than him.
