Russia called on other countries to abandon military invasion of Venezuela. This was announced by Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs Sergey Ryabkov, RIA Novosti reported.

“Russia insists that those who have ideas, plans, ideas, any assumption that such intervention be appropriate for this policy and responsible government officials refused them,” — said Ryabkov.

The politician said that in the past illegal interference in the internal Affairs of States has often led to bloodshed. He urged to avoid this scenario in Venezuela.

Earlier, foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the United States openly trying to overthrow the legitimate government in Venezuela, in flagrant violation of international law.
