Acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov has criticized the state of the economy and the economy. This is the Agency REGNUM on Tuesday, January 29.

“Our great city has frozen, lives out of inertia. Virtually all large investment projects, which started in 2000-ies have been completed. Their resources to improve the quality of life of Petersburgers has been exhausted,” said Beglov at a meeting of the government.

The acting head of the region believes that the problem can be solved only through a “comprehensive modernization of urban economy and life”. He clarified that sustainable city development is possible if the budget of one trillion rubles.

The modernization of the urban environment, he said, should form the basis of long-term development strategy.
