Peskov commented on the situation with the interpreters at the G20

To comment on the presence or absence of anyone’s interpreters on formal occasions is not a matter of the Kremlin, said press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov. It is quoted by TASS on Wednesday, January 30.

“On the sidelines of the summit, Putin had a huge number of episodic communication behind the scenes “on their feet”. (…) President Putin and his translator is constantly — this is our business and here we have a complete stability and complete order,” — said Peskov.

So the representative of the Kremlin has commented on the fact that the leaders of Russia and USA Vladimir Putin and Donald trump spoke at the G20 in Argentina without the involvement of the American translator.

On 14 January, the members of the house of representatives of the U.S. Congress have announced their intention to call for questioning the translators trump, worked in his meeting with his Russian counterpart at the summit. The possibility that they were planning to discuss with lawyers.

The day before, the Washington Post reported that a Republican gave his interpreter a Directive to keep secret the contents of the meeting and took his working papers.

Donald trump said that he was trying to hide any information, and no documents were taken. He stressed that never worked in the interests of Moscow.
