The state Duma has developed the bill regulating the use of unmanned aircraft in the course of events. This was reported on the website of the lower house of Parliament on Wednesday, January 30.
In particular, the authors of the document propose to give law enforcement officials the right to destroy the drones during the meetings. The same powers will be given to Asgardia, FSB and FSO.
“Places of a mass congestion of citizens, objects, and separate territories, over which the restricted area is not established, are vulnerable to the possible threats associated with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles,” — said one of the authors of the bill, the Chairman of the Committee for security and combating corruption Vasily Piskarev.
The MP noted that the activity of the unmanned aircraft is regulated in the European Union, USA, Canada and China.
Currently, drones are prohibited to fly within the ring road, the Kremlin and the Alexander garden.
