The head of UFC deyna white commented on the decision of the Athletic Commission of Nevada to dismiss Russian Habib Nurmagomedov for nine months. His words are quoted by MMA Fighting.

“For me an amazing period of Ineligibility Habib. A fine of half a million dollars and six months of suspension, even if he agrees to social work. Too harsh, in my opinion. But we have what we have,” said white.

The head of the UFC came to the defense of athletes. “It’s a struggle. Like it or not, but it’s a struggle. Sometimes there are situations when men do not love each other. So it was this time. All we do is fight. The soldiers used to say things to each other, this does not go away”, he added.

Nurmagomedov on the disqualification became known on January 29. The soldier was punished for the incident on the UFC 229, where he defeated Irish fighter Conor McGregor to battle for the belt champion of the organization in the lightweight division. After the match, the Russians attacked the sparring partner McGregor Dillon Dennis and sparked a brawl between coaches and other athletes.
