In the Tretyakov gallery reacted to the statement by members of the group Pussy Riot Hope Tolokonnikova, who admitted that he once stole a painting from a Museum on the Crimean Shaft. It is reported by the Federal news Agency on Wednesday, January 30.
“I suspect that all now want to be promoted on this wave”, — said the representative of cultural institutions. He noted that he first heard about the gallery on the Crimean shaft was missing the canvas, and promised that this issue will understand.
Previously, on 30 January artist-accionista Nadezhda Tolokonnikova during the discussion of the situation with the stolen work of Kuindzhi told how a few years ago stole a work of art. According to her, she “kidnapped” a small picture, so this incident was not followed by any scandal. After the incident, none of the Museum workers has not contacted the participant of Pussy Riot.
27 Jan from the Tretyakov gallery stole the painting Arkhip Kuindzhi “AI-Petri. Crimea”. Unknown in the eyes of the visitors took it off the wall and fled the scene. Witnesses took the man by the worker of the Museum. The next day the attacker was detained, and the painting seized.
