Advisor to the President for homeland security John Bolton advised the Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro to leave the country. He wrote about this in his Twitter.
“I wish for Maduro and his senior advisers for a long, quiet retirement in a nice seaside somewhere far away from Venezuela. They must take advantage of the promised, Guido Amnesty and to leave. The sooner the better”, — the politician wrote.
On 25 January it was reported that to guard Maduro was entrusted to the Russian mercenaries. The Kremlin denied this information. Maduro has refused to comment on the fact that in the ranks of his guard is the Russians.
In Venezuela there is a struggle between the elected President Nicolas Maduro and opposition leader Juan Guido, declared himself head of state on 23 January. Maduro was supported by such countries as Russia, Iran and Turkey, Guido — the United States to recognize the legitimate President, Canada and several countries in Latin America.
