Maduro promised to protect Venezuela against intervention and war

“Here in Venezuela no one, no one, I assure you, no soldier-interventionist, no matter where he came from; I can assure you that as commander in chief of the Bolivarian National armed forces, which are,” — said Maduro.

He also said that the opposition, under the leadership of Juan Guido prepares US intervention in Venezuela — but noted that the country “will not occur without any intervention or coup or war.”

In addition, he called insane statements by us President Donald trump on the possible use of military force. “It’s crazy to talk about war in the twenty-first century. Madness, Mr. Donald trump, even to think, that you will send troops to this land that there is someone to protect”, — he stressed.
