The Federal security service (FSB) expanded the list of terrorist organizations in Russia. On Tuesday, February 12, reported on the Agency’s website.
Currently, the registry consists of 29 groups. It now includes the organization of “Chistopol Jamaat”, which is recognized in 2017 Volga district court as a terrorist. A similar decision was made in 2018, the Moscow district military court in respect of the group “Rahnama BA sui dawlati Islami” (“guide to the “Islamic state””).
August 11, 2016, it was reported that the FSB stopped the activities of the Internet community “Rohnamo”, and promote the ideas of the terrorist organization “Islamic state” (banned in Russia) and collecting for it.
The detained members of the “Ruhnama” seized propaganda videos of the terrorists, extremist literature, as well as three gun, four grenades, about 500 grams of plastic explosives, five trotyl blocks with a total mass of one kilogram. According to intelligence agencies, the composition of the community in Russia and abroad there are more than 100 thousand immigrants from Central Asia.
Terrorist group “Chistopol Jamaat” was formed in 2007 in the city of Chistopol (Republic of Tatarstan). Its leader was the “main Mujahed of Tatarstan” Rais Mingaleev. On account of the gang — murder of the head of the educational Department of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Tatarstan waliullah Yakupov and attempted mufti of the Republic Ildus Fayzova, as well as the shelling of the territory of the plant “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” homemade rockets.
