North Korea told about the meeting of the country’s leader, Kim Jong-UN and us President Donald trump. The message was circulated by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (KCNA) on February 28.
It says that the second summit of heads of state began on February 27 “due to the hot passions and enterprising effort, outstanding commitment of the heads of the DPRK and the United States, intending to put an end to the vicious cycle of confrontation and hostility and to respond to onset of first epoch of peace and prosperity.”
It is noted that on the first day of the event was “a nice upright tête-à-tête between the heads of two countries and a dinner.”
According to KCNA, the North Korean leader was hoping for a “a remarkable result of the negotiations that will please all”.
“Mistrust and misunderstanding, hostile attitudes and old practices tried to block our way forward, but tearing and breaking all of them, we again advanced towards and through the 260-plus days got to Hanoi, and this period like never demanded much suffering, effort and patience” — the words of Kim Jong-UN Agency.
On 28 February it became known that the negotiations trump and Kim Jong-UN was over two hours ahead of time. The parties have not reached agreements and have not signed the joint statement following the meeting. The US President expressed hope for further cooperation and believe the promises of his colleagues on nuclear disarmament of the DPRK.
