The police of Angarsk, Irkutsk region refused to initiate a criminal case in connection with the ritual burning of the five camels of the Buryat shamans. About it reports the edition Sign.

Law enforcement found the actions of the shamans of violations of the law and refused to initiate a criminal case under article 245 of the criminal code (“cruelty to animals”). The reason for the refusal was lack of evidence, reports the edition with reference to the Prosecutor of Angarsk Denis Kabatova.

Later, who conducted the ceremony the shaman Arthur Tsybikov attempted to justify their actions. He said that he got a call from one of the local farms with the request to kill five aggressive camels, and indicated that the animals were not burned alive.
